AVE's Discrete Lockout Circuit

Lockout portion of PCB

Circuit Diagram

How it works:

Like most of the others, this one relys on voltage pulses to the pins to do the dirty work. It is quite similar to the original Colordreams lockout defeat, though this one uses two lines, kinda like the later Wisdom Tree circuit, but without the -5V. Like the others, the software on the cart must deal with operating it. This is AVE's 3rd and final attempt at lockout defeats.

Circuit Operation:

Very simple. Just two 2 transistor buffers. When toggled, they pulse the caps, which induces a voltage into the lockout chip, hopefully "stunning" it.
